Granted Noony hasn't played for the first eleven for more than a decade but since then he has had cause to don his whites every now and again  to fulfill twelfth man duties.  This season he got the call, all hands to the pump, when Notts lost three bowlers to injury against Worcestershire at Trent Bridge. Wayne fielded for more than a session until someone on the staff younger could be found.
