Glamorgan Friendly Day 2

Day 2

Notts closed the second day at Cardiff on 243-6. Fifties for Libby, Read and Wessels.

Day 1

A 5-fer for Ben Kitt on the opening day at Cardiff will give the new coach a few selection doubts ahead of the the first Championship game that starts on Friday, if he believes he knows the make-up of his bowling attack already.

Following a Second eleven mauling of Loughborough 2nds with a 7-fer on Friday, Be Kitt the Cornishman was instrumental in the dismissal of the Welsh county for 221. Jake Libby and Greg Smith took Notts to 50-0 at stumps.

For the two day knockabout with Glamorgan, Notts will take the following:

Jake Libby, Greg Smith, Michael Lumb, Riki Wessels, Samit Patel, Chris Read, Tom Moores, Brett Hutton, Stuart Broad, Luke Fletcher, Harry Gurney, Ben Kitt.

With the absence of injured Brendan Taylor and Steven Mullaney, a limited batting line-up, had it been a proper game.

The game is to be structured as a two innings per side. Glamorgan having the first bat.
