  1. The last 4 seasons suggest 50 wickets if he bowls 350 overs - which seems about the norm of season overs when I look at the Fletch and Gurney stats which were posted. Could be good news for Notts in 2019. Bit too readily disgarded by England I think when I look at Tom Curran getting an incremental contract - but this loss could be Notts gain.

I wonder if we should treat him as a premier fast bowler in 2019 and use James/Blatherwick or Wood (winner in 2017 and 18) in white ball a bit more

Above average county bowler, not quite international class in my opinion, though a few season ago was really firing on all cylinders and bowling with pace. Was done no favours by the ECB, when toured Oz as was not fully fit when asked to play 1st test and then bowl short to a plan.Afer that never got another chance to play. Hoping from selfish point of view, plays for Notts all season Had, originally expected him and Radar to form a new ball spearhead which should have been a real handful added to when Broady is available also.Like BIG Fletch, has some ability with the bat down the order and would like to see him develop this further because, as the stats above indicate, should be capable of hitting the odd half century in the right game circumstances?
