Needed something to give me a good laugh........and that's provided it. No need to watch repeats of 80s comedies on Itv3, when you can get to grips with those figures. In his mitigation, have spoken to him when he was fielding on the boundary down at the Palatial Bay and he's a really nice, polite bloke and the regenerated JakeLibby2.0 may still have a lot to offer in white ball but the challenge is for him to get in,and then stay in, the white ball teams.
ReplyDeleteIs he likely to miss out on the Hundred draft? I think so.
DeleteYes, he is a credit to Notts for politeness and being completely genuine. I think that his previous serious injury affected him 'psychologically' though and often it is a long path to recovery and to regain former confidence. I too wish him well and hope that if he stays the Coaches will know how to look after him. I would certainly like to see him bowl a bit more as well.
DeleteHe'll be lucky to be retained. Couldn't hack it Div 2 last time. Hasn't done anything since. In short, not skilled enough for FCC.
DeleteHaving said that, he did make a remarkable metamorphism into a very useful T20 player in 2018 and was unlucky to be passed over in the QF this year when really it was Clarke that was being replaced by Nash.
