  1. Durham v Gloucestershire in Yorkshire, cricket is just getting weirder probably because it's run by so called business people. They have no cricket in their souls.

  2. What next ?
    The mind boggles.
What about the supporters who cannot travel / especially the older ones without transport /
PS - I saw the bit about transport being laid on . But is it the thin end of the wedge
WHEN IS A HOME GROUND NOT A HOME GROUND ?

  5. I lived in Yorkshire in the early 70s, was born in Hull and Mum and Dad, much missed, lived near Scarborough in retirement. North Marine Road,is my second favourite ground after Trent Bridge. However this seems a further weakening of County Cricket, but as said above, we are not in too good a position to complain. Or at least our Executive are not

  7. Agree with Rich ; Scarborough is wonderful. Trent Bridge is my favourite Test ground for County Cricket.

I don’t think it is that odd Durham playing at Scarborough; think many of their supporters will enjoy that day out. Not as odd as Lancashire playing home games at Sedbergh , which much as I love the place, is in Yorkshire as far as I’m concerned ; never recognised Cumbria even though it happened in 74.

    2. Indeed. Lancs incompetent website even managed to wrongly announce last year’s group game against Derbyshire as being played at Riverside too
