Nottingham Cricket Lovers Society delay start of winter season 2020 - 21

October usually marks the start of meetings of Nottingham Cricket Lovers’ Society. Since its foundation in 1972, the Society has met monthly at Trent Bridge through the autumn and winter months, welcoming cricketing speakers from near and far. Last year’s programme included Notts stalwarts Paul Franks, Samit Patel and Paul Johnson along with John Stephenson from MCC and former Zimbabwe captain Tatenda Taibu.

Given the current restrictions on indoor gatherings, the Society has regrettably decided that there will be no meetings before Christmas this year. The Society’s Committee will keep the situation under review in the hope that meetings can resume in the New Year, ahead of the 2021 cricket season.

The Society hopes that all members are staying well and looks forward to a time when we can all meet again at Trent Bridge.
