Happy New Year

Happy New Year

and as we are all being ruled at the moment by things Greek, Omicron and Delta at least, then perhaps I should ask what you want the Orthodox church's Santa, St Basil to bring on "St Basil's Day" (New Years Day)?

An NCCC face mask?

Kolpaks return to SA?

  2. Just had an email from Restaurant Six proudly saying they are reopening on Friday 14 so think that’s 3 weeks they’ve been closed over the festive/new year holiday period. An unusual business model for hospitality venues they’ve enforced their very own version of Lockdown on themselves with no assistance needed from the Government. As per CK’s post previously ironic that Quinton de Kock has now announced his retirement from Test cricket at the ripe old age of 29. This is also in the middle of their home series to India and after the first test. But of course, will still be available to play whit ball and Franchise cricket around the globe. It’s no wonder the game’s administrators are also now prioritising white ball in some instances

So Jacko, you intend to dine more at Restaurant Six in 2022? Why not make a day of it and take in a game of Rockets as well, you know you want to. Fine dining, prepared by a Micheline chef, followed by cricket featuring all the World's superstars in event that will not fail to entertain with a bassline that keep your feet tapping for at least a month or until your second course is served at your beautifully appointed table, with views over four counties.

  3. Rich - ref your earlier post . " Batsmen" is now non PC
Batters is the new official term.
" Balls" is also now frowned upon .
PC term is now " deliveries"
