AVERAGES

  1. 80 NOT OUT
We didnt qualify for the later stages because the batsmen let us down . With only one with a average of over 30 . Thats never going to win enough matches .
On the plus side its given valuable experience to several up and coming Second 11 lads . That step up in class and effort can be more than they bargain form . A pretty mediocre competition where Notts were concerned . But it still provided much good talking points and entertainment. The 50 over comp HAS to be kept going.

  2. Very poor performance & return from the batting unit if I was looking at the numbers
I would be asking some very serious questions on there individual contributions
& ask myself do some of these players lack the ability to move up to the next level
