Newell is staying put!

Bangladesh isn't for Mick!
In an interview with Espncricinfo, Mick Newell has let it slip that he has told BCB that he isn't interested in that nation's coaching job at this stage of his life; citing that he has young children. The DoC also expressed his strong affiliation to Nottinghamshire in the same interview but reiterated that in the future his aim would be to coach an International side, but not at this juncture.

Richard Pybus, former Pakistan coach and a Geordie has been appointed by BCB as their national coach.

NETHERLANDS EASILY DISPOSE OF ESSEX

After their narrow win against the Red Rose county yesterday, home side Netherlands shot out Essex in 33 overs in a 36 over game for 112 at Schiedam.

Netherlands knocked the runs off in 22.1 overs to win by 5 wickets.

In their Division 2 game at Cardiff, the league's whipping boys were relying heavily on their latest recruit, Unicorn, Michael Thornely until he too succumbed to a slump.
