COOKING-UP A PLAN
The improvement in England's batting lasted just 12 more runs today before the familiar pattern returned, with one or two exceptions - Bell and Patel both falling in replicated fashion in consecutive balls - a golden disappointment for Samit falling LBW to Yadav ("off an inside edge" - Aggers).

CLUELESS
As in day 1 and day 2, India were totally dominant in Ahmadabad against a below par England.
England's first innings continued how it had begun and crumbled to a 191 all out - Broad making the honours board with just 25. Patel made 10 whilst the pair of Bears in side make a pair of ducks.

First Test Day 1
