Pavilion Progress

27/09

Trent Bridge in 1893, but why a young Jacob Rees-Mogg is watching the heavy roller isn't made clear.

24/09

Today during Day 1 of the last fixture there was lots of activity surrounding a crane that was lifting steelwork into position

It looks like they've been doing some footings recently - the foundations, an objective person might say that it's back to square one!

It lookes like someone has laid a course of brickwork or two, perhaps they went too far with the knocking down?

Resumption of dismantling, one brick at a time! Steel work now disappeared.

I noticed yesterday, the dismantling phase has for now ceased and some of the steel work for upward expansion has now gone in.

  1. I have great reservations about this development process regarding cost
& what the final outcome will be regarding the floor plans all very vague, the shambles of the six restaurant comes to mind
    Hope I'm wrong

    1. But I read that it said you could transfer your reserved seating from the lower Hound Road to new seating in the pavilion at no addition cost. I'd find the exact wording but I binned the glossy brochure.

So you believe that they are being overly optimistic?

  4. Fair comment ! I would politely advise the club to work hand in glove with the building regulators, with current and upcoming work. They have to get this right, the consequences of not doing are very serious, financially and reputation wise.

  5. Seems confusing information on how
the pavilion project is progressing the chairman stated everything's on schedule
But a credible source says it's already 6 week + behind who right I think I know who's version I trust

  6. Love that vintage photo and your crack. Seems strange seeing George Parr's Tree, which I remember well, with no stand in front of it.
