Semi Final 2

Virat Kohli took India past South Africa to win by 6 wickets; India always on track in the target chase with few scares....................... fairly routine and boring for the neutrals.

Final

Sri Lanka beat India

Game 16

Umar Akmal (94) fell to a boundary catch that deprived him of hitting Pakistan's first T20 century, Pakistan finished on 191/5.

Half way (in overs) in their chase Australia were 117/2 Aaron Finch being out gunned and over shadowed by Glenn Maxwell, Australia almost cruising.

Maxwell's big show ended in the 12th over on 74 off 33 balls. From that point, with a softening ball getting harder to smash to the boundary, Pakistan's spinners turned the screw and the Australian gung-ho batsmen got themselves out; Pakistan won by 16 runs.

Game 17

West Indies struggled batting against tournament favourites India, never coming to terms with the bowling of Bhuvneshwar Kumar; WI finishing on 129/7.

India were 76/1 after 10 overs

Fifties from Kohli and Sharma ensured India had little difficulty eclipsing their target, even having time for Yuvraj Singh to clock-up some batting practice in a relaxed manner. India won by 7 wickets
