Nottingham 9th December – It has been confirmed that Nottinghamshire County Cricketer Luke Fletcher is to enter the Pakistan Super League draft. Luke ,27, already has overseas T20 experience, having enjoyed a successful spell in New Zealand for the Wellington Firebirds. Well known for his yorker bowling ability, miserly economy rates and outgoing personality, Luke is a firm fans favourite at Trent Bridge and fondly remembered at Wellington.

Players will be selected by way of a selection draft at the end of December 2015, in four separate price categories, Platinum $190,000, Diamond $65,000, Gold $47,000 and Silver $28,000. Fletcher, has priced himself in the silver category, representing an attractive price proposition for the teams in the Pakistan Super League.
Global T20 specialist Darren Sammy, recently tweeted his support to Fletcher, stating “good luck buddy”. This follows support from New Zealand international, James Franklin, saying, “He's a specialist death bowler…..the great thing I like about him is his character, he is always up for it”.
Quotation from Luke Fletcher
“I am looking forward to being part of the Pakistan Super League draft. I am confident in my ability as a T20 bowler. I have shown in the T20 Blast and in New Zealand, that I have the attitude and skills to deliver against the best. I feel I offer great value to the franchises, being a specialist T20 bowler with strong yorker ability. I will try to smash the odd six too!”
