Wintering Downunder with Steven Mullaney and hopefully returning leaner and having rediscovered the lost yard or two of pace which has be absent for a second season. Fletch started the season with his mate, Goober, at Derby after which things never really got started for the big man, he too being knocked down the pecking order by the emerging youngsters as did the departed Carter.

My feeling about Fletch is that he is our "Freddie" Flintoff. Somehow he makes things happen. With real support from the new coach he could do well this year. He looks very fit and eager to get going. Have a feeling if James Pattinson, Jake Ball, Stuart Broad and Harry Gurney all fit, Fletch could miss out at Leicester. I would pick him ahead of Harry though, and I am sure he will be in the team most of the time.
