The Hundred Trial at the Bridge

Trent Bridge has been chosen / volunteered to trial the new concept of the 100 ball match. The men's trials will take place 16-18 September and those players participatmg are expected to come from most counties, making-up four elevens.

We nearly have cricket at Trent Bridge on a weekend (well a Sunday) in September.

But does anyone seriously expect the public will be allowed to watch?

During the same month, women's trials will be held at Loughborough.

  3. Will be a catastrophic financial disaster and will be scrapped after a couple of years leaving a big black hole in the ECB’s finances. Groves, Harrison and co will then just calmly walk away and leave someone else to clear up their mess.
