Here's the spiel from the club's website:
Members will have the chance to put their questions to the Club’s Director of Cricket, Chief Executive, Chairman and Head Coach at a forum event on Monday 1st July.
Mick Newell, Lisa Pursehouse, Richard Tennant and Peter Moores will be in attendance for the event, taking place during the lunch interval on the second day of Nottinghamshire’s County Championship game against Essex at Trent Bridge.
Entry to the Derek Randall Suite for the forum is free, with complimentary tea and coffee being served.
The event is the latest opportunity for Nottinghamshire members to discuss matters relating to their Club with the Trent Bridge hierarchy, after a Q&A session was held with club captain Steven Mullaney and assistant coach Paul Franks prior to the start of the season.
A further members’ forum is also planned at Trent Bridge on Tuesday 17th September.
In the spirit of 2019, both forums will be held on a working day, denying many the opportunity to voice their questions and concerns; number one being- why are there less fixtures at weekends, particularly over the past couple of years?
What's the betting that this will be an 'exercise in deflection'? The 'top brass' will have their responses to awkward questions rehearsed in advance with references to injuries; difficulty in recruiting overseas players; the weather; the ECB schedule of different Matches and Competitions and the relatively small (and ageing) playing squad. The skill will be in Members being able to ask the right sort of questions without getting all angry and worked up.
