It's so wrong; jobs for the boys again
ReplyDeleteFranks now Broad dipping their bread
Honesy. I wouldn’t bother. Broad has been a great ambassador for Notts. I’ve seen him around the outskirts of the ground talking to the younger kids and he was superb.
ReplyDeleteBut this season just gone was awful. Strip out the 5-for which from memory was flattering and the other wickets were few and far between. He redeemed himself for England though - if he lost his central contract we would have a high wage bill wouldn’t we a la Hales...??
Have rather come back tothis. Stuart's bowling stats for Notts are highly impressive. His average runs per wicket is significantlg better than in Test cricket, where it is a exytemely good. His economy rate for us is World Class and his bowling strike rate is up there with the greats of bowlers in Cricket History. His performances over 12 seasons so far are remarkably consistent. Of course his appearances have been limited due to his magnificent and continuing great Test career. But I really think those who have been critical of him when playing for Notts, are just plain wrong
