Particularly gutted over this. What about him HONOURING the last year of a contract he was happy to sign with all the security it brought. Provided he stays fit he would have been a big player for us next season. One of the Durham coach's told a few of us down at the palatial Bay last season that out of the mass exodus of players that left Durham, he was the one they were desperate to keep as they wanted to build a new side around him. Were things really that bad ? What about getting us back in Div 1 and then leaving with everyone's blessing. Very, very disappointed.
ReplyDeleteI must have missed something. Is he off to another club?
ReplyDeleteDURHAM.
ReplyDeleteFolk have been saying that there is something seriously wrong at Notts for quite some time now. This just underlines it. The guy obviously saw the need to get out ASAP, probably took a pay drop in the process.
ReplyDeleteYes, something is very wrong at Notts.
