NPL News - Luke Fletcher back at P&L

Luke Fletcher has re-signed for Papplewick and Linby who are at home to Caythorpe on Saturday.

Kimberley Institue have the services of Liam Patterson-White this season; they take on Hucknall on Saturday. Hucknall in turn could have the services of Samit Patel available.

Venue Guide

The NPL will be publishing a ‘venue guide’ for all their grounds. It will be a simple document designed so visitors know what to expect when they arrive. As an example:
  • Will the bar be open?
  • Where are the toilets for spectators?
  • Should visitors bring their own chairs?
  • These guides will be published on the league website in readiness for next weekends fixtures.

Back to his proper level ? No, that's a bit harsh. He would be a very useful more than adequate squad bowler if we had a decent attack but unfortunately we haven't had such in recent years on the whole. He found himself having to carry the attack which was never fair to him. Could any members of the BIG Fletch fan club be making the pilgrimage to see him bowl again with the red vector?

  2. Well, one thing is for sure....nowhere can offer LESS facilities than Lady Bay, it's not humanly possible. If Notts stiffs played a game on the remote outpost of Pluto it would surely be an improvement. More spectators(albeit of an extra terrestrial kind),less cold, no wind whatsoever in that vacuum and I'm sure you could find a rock or boulder more comfortable to sit on than those two park benches at square leg. Still waiting to see Princess Lisa down there at some stage after she described it as having the potential to become a 'festival ground' in the future

    1. Less bird sh1t and dry rot on the benches on Pluto, so I'm told.

  3. Lady Bay is an utter disgrace - visiting spectators must wonder what sort of problems Notts are having. You hardly ever see any Committee folks (Richard S being the exception) down there - those that are regulars are the TRUE Notts supporters.

  4. Lisa often said in members forums it would be good to take a county game to lady bay! Took me a while to work out why? The hidden agenda I believe being to boot the championship out of Trent Bridge to make way for the city franchise s@@t

  5. This season is a perfect opportunity to try that out - no need to play at Trent Bridge with games being played behind closed doors. And if no vaccine is found, then is there no need for Trent Bridge.
