Day 1
"Scorers will not mark a player as OUT, to allow him to return for practise."
Sixty overs for Warwickshire today, weather permitting. Showers are forecast through-out the afternoon.
Hopefully the picture quality and angle of the camera will be improved. Much too much of square-leg cam yesterday - I suppose they're still learning...
Notts a very rusty yet hygienic performance and in 60 overs recorded this:

LPW notable in his absence and Duckett is busy in his own biosphere either at Old Trafford or at Southampton, or a car inbetween the two.
Lack of LPW very sad I think
ReplyDelete"When will we ever learn ?"
Notts policy on youngsters similar to King Herod's
The other notable absence is Chris Nash.
ReplyDeleteOnce we have seen who hasn't been given an opportunity "to express them self" in either of the 2 warm-up matches, then we will know what the club are thinking going forward into a proper season in 2021 (hopefully).
ReplyDeleteHope the streaming/camera angles are better than this when the Bob Willis stuff starts
ReplyDeleteYes very disappointing during this morning's session with only the two fixed cameras and gremlins with the streaming. Something a lot better will be required for the Blast where the ball will be flying around a lot off the square.
DeleteGood job we're in Div 2 as if ever the personnel of a squad looked destined for relegation.......
DeleteWatched a bit of Trego batting with Joe Clarke, the streaming was a lot better switching to square leg only after the square on batters shot view so you could try to see where the ball had gone. If it keeps improving plus with commentary it may just about be watchable for when the Bob Willis Trophy starts ?
ReplyDeleteWarwick 281-4, Notts 266-14. A gradual return to some kind of normality.
ReplyDeletePresumably at Trent Bridge we will have the usual fixed camera positions switching after each over showing the wicket area . Plus one ,possibly two other cameras able to follow the action and operated by someone who has done a similar thing before . Plus of course synchronised ball by ball commentary from Dave Bracegirdle plus guest commentator/s ?
ReplyDeleteYes, presumably sycophantic Dave and his usual array of mates inc BIG Fletch ?
