  1. Good solid player. Can be relied on to score runs on a consistent basis. Just gets his head down and gets on with it. Still has aspirations to play for England red ball team and has been mentioned again quite recently.

    Last season the Direby fans were STILL seething we had poached their best batsman. His red ball record was pretty average at Direby but full credit to him he is now a top class player in certainly 2 formats and there's no reason why he can't put pressure on the batting group for a place in the T20 side also. Love the way TB drip feed these good news stories they were obviously all announced at the same time. The brilliant Samit Patel has now also been announced as the Notts Vitality Blast player of the season also. Surely there can't be many more awards left now ?
