    What a servant to the Club !
    Its amazing the number of games he has played each season
    He keeps fit in his own way.
    When he finally retires it will leave a massive hole. Similar situation to when Chris Read retired.
    Players like Samit are worth their weight in gold.
    With him at the crease or with the ball in his hand you always had a chance of winning a match - no matter the actual situation .

    There's only a handful of current players who, like Samit, have played in every year of 20 over cricket since its inception in 2003. I think Ravi Bipolar and 86 year old Darren Stevens at Kent are another 2 of the select group. I think Rikki Clarke was another but believe he has now retired.
