Six Nottinghamshire Players of the Season 2022

 

At the Notts End of Season Dinner:

Nottinghamshire’s LV= Insurance County Championship Player of the Season, having collected 56 wickets at an average of 22.35, including a career-best 8-52.



Brett Hutton is named the Outlaws' Royal London Cup Player of the Season. 22 wickets, Economy 4.59



With 374 runs, at a strike rate of 193.78, Alex Hales
is Notts' Vitality Blast Player of the Season.



41 wickets in the Championship, England Lions call-up. Notts' Uncapped Player of the Season, Liam Patterson-White


Ben Martindale receives the Charles Vernon Price, Most Improved Academy Player of the Year award having posted 588 runs in the Second XI Championship and made his List A debut in 2022.



With 1408 all-format runs, and selection in England’s red and white-ball squads, Ben Duckett is Nottinghamshire’s Player of the Season.

  1. Must be quite hard NOT to win something out of that list ? Can’t believe LPW is still uncapped that can’t be right surely?
    What did Tom Moores win ? Most average wicketkeeper and nepotism recipient of the season award ?
    May have given LV County Championship award to Hameed but the Great Dane’s is a great effort considering the English summer heatwave, the trouble with the ball and the very flat pitches up and down the circuit(not including our own except for the Middx and Durham homes games that is)

    1. Amazed LPW not capped. Would get into every other side and plays every game for us. Surely something to rectify before 2023
