Very emotional for me. Jake came into the Notts team, I think about 2012, I remember it, but not sure year.
ReplyDeleteBut I followed his whole career with Notts, while often battling illness (me I mean). Really enjoyed his cricket, even in some hard times health wise.
He always gave his all and it was lovely when he scored that winning four.
80 NOT OUT
ReplyDeleteNice that Jake went out on a high in his last NOTTS match. A lot of affection for him from NOTTS Members .
When you watch fast bowlers in action you can see why so many break down so frequently . Stress on ankles , knees , elbows and shoulders must be enormous . It brings it home that what Anderson and Broad achieved is something special that we may never see again .
