    1. Yes, agree Rich
They’re pretty good stats overall especially when you factor in all those white ball performances down the years, especially a few years ago when his white ball batting was at its peak
When we were struggling for a red ball opener, Mull stood up and faced the challenge full on and his record is pretty reasonable considering he was a middle order batsman
Think he could have bowled a bit more at home games when conditions and the pitch suited him. He always seemed a bit reluctant to bring himself on at times and possibly his fitness levels were not quite what they needed to be
Difficult to comment on his Captaincy as he oversaw an average Notts red ball side during his reign
Granted, he oversaw that awful, embarrassing 🙈, near 3 year wait for a red ball win, but any Captain is only as good as the personnel at his disposal and Mull has had had a pretty average and often inexperienced squad of red ball players during his reign over them.
I think he can look back with pride and say he gave his 120% to the Notts cause during his reign

  2. 80 NOT OUT
    Agree with above comments
Any side containing 11 Steven Mullaneys would win silverware every season . He has put in a lot of hard work for NOTTS over many campaigns .But time has caught up with him - and there is no shame in that . Be interesting to see how many first team appearances he makes in 2024.
