Yet again - two 4 dayers right at the beginning of April - bbrrrr!
And again a 4 dayer overlapping with Goose Fair at the very end of Sept !
Not a great season ahead for the serious cricket lovers .

    1. 64 day gap between championship games at Trent Bridge, end June to end of August.

    2. Yes and there's a 32 day hole between Notts fixtures of any format at Trent Bridge from the last of the home games in the Blast until the first of the two One Day Cup games at HQ. For supporters it makes it easier to book your holidays I suppose.

  2. The early games in April will be perfect for 80 NOT OUT to wear his cream coloured ‘Old Man Steptoe’ long john’s that don’t get an outing too often ?????

  3. Above comments nail it.
If any improvement, it is tiny.
    Worth the money ?
    Well for me, no.

  5. I’d say a slight improvement - not particularly for me, personally speaking but im always conscious of supporters who have limited annual leave(20 days possibly) who stopped renewing their memberships as they couldn’t get to the midweek games, so it is a slight improvement over recent seasons with regard to that
The fact the county program is played almost entirely in April May and September is certainly not an improvement but the t20 world ๐ŸŒŽ cup completely Quinton de-Kocks up this next season

  6. 80 NOT OUT .
    History repeats itself .
Notts have a knack of signing bowlers who hardly ever ๐Ÿฅฃ bowl.

Have Notts ccc installed heated seats in the main stands over the winter months?

  8. Well the season begins on my birthday - and it’s snowed on that date in years gone by.
The good news is that you could take a decent summer holiday and not miss any Notts cricket.

I’ll still go - membership is a birthday present. But becoming increasingly hard to justify…..

  9. Nothing really new - Championship winning season 2010 home ๐Ÿก match started 10 days later - England ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ being what it is, could be better or worse on 05 April

  10. Assuming you can get to the games from a work/health etc. perspective then it’s still fabulous value for money ๐Ÿ’ด for the entire season compared to other sporting, recreational and leisure activity pastimes we also cough up for.
I don’t think it’s ideal having 2 back to back 4 dayers in April/May thus leaving the remaining 3 games spaced out over the next 4 months and although it doesn’t particularly bother me too much, I know a lot of Notts members who don’t want any games outside of TB
Unfortunately, can’t see too much changing unless they do the detestable thing and cut the red ball program down to 10 games which I don’t know ๐Ÿคท‍♀️ of any supporter who is in favour of this, so as Basil Fawlty said “In that case then, we’re rather stuck”

    Ah yes!
    The 4 day game
It’s becoming a millstone for some Counties and quite a few players .
It’s 100% certain that less 4 dayers will be played in future seasons.
How about reducing them to 3 dayers and making the domestic fixture list less congested?

    1. 3 x 102 over days (17 overs per hour), it would work, except in wouldn't free-up the schedule because the woke modernisers would fill the freed-up time with an expanded H*ndred comp.

  12. Like Churchill, "ratted and reratted"
    I have joined.
Well more weekends and 2 50 over matches in August at TB.
Plus a friend on here, saying watch "county cricket while we can" really made me change my mind. Cheers !
