Not that many weeks away, when you think about it. Might need to be nipping to MacDs for a hot drink and "conveniences", when play is at The Bay.
ReplyDeleteNo finer place to be. It’s where Legends are made, facilities return to the 1860s and time appears to go backwards. Even more character forming being there than watching the series re-run of the Crawley/Duckett opening partnerships in this Ashes series. Particular Brucie Bonus is when it’s cold 🥶 and blustery down there
DeleteYes, Rich that is the obvious option when frequenting this palatial establishment. Our DoC said previously you could obtain a hot 🥵 drinky from inside what passes for a cricket 🏏 Pavillion - but I believe those halcyon days are no more. Certainly the case when the the mighty Blaze🔥play there as you cannot even get close to the Pavillion as it’s zoned off to the hoi-polloi as Anita, Josie Groves mum, informed me last season when I was down there
82 NOT OUT
ReplyDeleteSomeone told me they had installed heated seats down at Lady Bay during the winter ?
You're 80 days early with that news. The pavilion at HQ currently has no seats, heated or otherwise.
