Right, here we go.......Ben Phillips, Matt Wood, Academy player Adam Tillcock and Richard Logan
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought these were easier than the the last lot Stoney.
ReplyDeleteYou have unfortunately managed to get a miss on all targets. Score = 0
Are there any other takers before the cryptic clues start to muddy in the waters (for Stoney)?
The final picture is Mark Fell, currently Director of Cricket at Lincolnshire. Even with slowing down the animation it is no easier and definitely a lot harder than the first set of pictures.
DeleteThat is Ben Phillips double then, in the black MKK notts training shirt, so at least thanks to the Curator we seem to have at least one, then in Mark Fell
DeleteOK granted there is a similarity between BP and the mystery man but they can't be same person as both appeared for the club in the same season and obviously had different numbers.
DeleteThe academy player never reached the first eleven in any format but he's still knocking about in Minor county cricket and perhaps still has the potential to make a breakthrough as he's still young. (again fact not cryptic)
The other one, your will kick yourself when you work him out (that's not a cyptic clue) - he's the most well known of the 4.
Mark Fell is correct Mr Curator, but you knew that.
I thought the black MKK notts training shirts were quite a recent addition which should in theory help us identify the players.
DeleteI did think the Academy player was Dan Freeman.
DeleteIt is Dan Freeman and he's still only 22 years old
DeleteThe second one is possibly Ian Butler
DeleteCorrect!
DeleteTop marks, The Curator, you are on fire. I had completely forgotten about the New Zealand T20 import. He doesn't particularly look like BP, but he does on that mug shot. I am trying to see the badge on the cap for the remaining incumbent. Also, anyone know how to freeze or slow the images down from a humble iPad? Can we have a clue please Harry as regards his playing career ?
DeleteI've made it bigger for you now with the featured post at the bottom.
DeleteThe badge isn't a Notts one!
May be wide of the mark - David Hussey?
ReplyDeleteYou're right, it is off the mark but not way off... a pro like Stoney is sure to get it now!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's not, Voges, Cowan, Hillfenhaus or both Pattos , surely it can't be Stuart MacGill ?
DeleteIt's not Bruce Dooland either - photo above of him batting for Notts
DeleteLeft handed and Gray Nichols pads..........pls tell me it's Phil Jacques
ReplyDeleteI let you off too easily there; it is Phil Jaques.
