MAG thought everyone would appreciate nice, easy non-cryptic question:
What do the following players all have in common?
- Adam Lyth
- Alex Wakely
- Eoin Morgan
- Stephen Parry
- Michael Hogan
Not always totally serious and by fans for the fans of Notts Outlaws and Nottinghamshire CCC. Why not contribute yourself; write a review, article, photographs, statistics or to have a whine. Contact methods are shown above. Publication does not necessarily mean agreement with comments, but if it makes just one person smile then it can't all be bad. No offence is ever intended, just a smile. Words are just opinions and not certified facts.
All names have an 'a' in them!!! What's my prize?
ReplyDeleteAll 5 have been to the Shane Warne advanced hair studio.....but Adam Lyth's didn't work too well ?
ReplyDeleteMine didn't work either!!!
DeleteWhen you get it right you'll get a star. You might have to do some googling to answer this one
ReplyDeleteAlways prefer the old fashioned way and letting the little brainy do its stuff. So, what about they all made their debuts against a Notts side ?
ReplyDeleteNothing quite so ....
DeleteThey all got ducks on their FC debuts ?
ReplyDeleteDid they, if they did it's not what I'm looking for.
DeleteAlex Wakely made 38 and 66 on debut verses Somerset in 2007. I suspect someone is guessing.
DeleteLeft handed batsnen and right handed bowlers ?
ReplyDeleteAlex Wakely for one is RHB, so no Richard, you might have to research some the counties' websites for clues
DeleteI thought they may all have had the same middle name or had the same birthday, but they don't....so what about they all wear the same no.shirt/have the same squad number ?
ReplyDeleteNice thought but Morgan is obviously 16 and Lyth is number 9
DeleteAll have turned down offers to play IPL in order to fulfill county contracts. If that not right I am at a loss. Michael Hogan is an Aussie, though he did play for Gkamorgan
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if Michael Hogan is of the calibre they require in the IPL but he has been at Glamorgan for a long time and is a British Citizen.
ReplyDeleteYou're going to have to get on to those alien website and look at the news at other counties.
They were all due to have a testimonial in 2020.
ReplyDeleteCorrect.
DeleteThat question is an absolute shocker Michael !!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteWow ! Why did Morgan need a testimonial ? Our heroes seem to like money. Apologies and surprise if it was all to go to charity
