Reign of the puddle

With no play today at Trent Bridge (before tea at the earliest); the Third Test at Edgbaston, washed-out for a second day, Leicestershire escaping their calamitous derby with Derby with a draw, the third day at Wantage Road being washed out too; Durham were denied the opportunity of reclaiming more points against championship favourites, Warwickshire, after their point deduction in the defeat to last years champions in their previous match, courtesy of Messrs Willey and Bailey, who docked 4 points. The drawn game at CLS yielded 8 points for the hosts and 6 for the league leaders.

Mr One Day Late
