Postcard from NSW 4.1

Andy M made a journey to Bowral and the Don Bradman "shrine" there.

The ground is literally within spitting distance of where a young Don lived. There is a museum dedicated to his legendary status and his ashes are spread in the rose garden by the statute of him.

If any of 'the lads ' are coming to Australia later this year tell them to try and make a detour to Bowral a very special place

The Australians are poaching English players it seems, in preparation for the Ashes Series.

Good to hear from you from here in sunny Gosford, NSW. Cowan did ok then on his debut. Hope everyone has 'wintered well' . Can't believe how County have imploded since I left in November they were 2nd then whilst Billy and U Reds are rampant,,,bugger!
Have joined up with the Central Coast 60+ cricket guys as I reach that age in November - the pic was taken at Doyalson 40 miles north of here, the umpire is the fella with the white stick
