  1. What has Grantham done to upset the TB top brass then ?
Shame only the 4x4 dayers this season at the Mecca of 2nd Eleven cricket venues plus the odd other spurious fixture thrown in as a bonus(?)

  2. I suspect other games could be added at a later stage

  3. Time was 2nd X1 games were played inside Trent Bridge. The only one I can remember in recent years was when Bangladesh A wanted, quiet rightly, to play in the great ground.foxy

    1. Was that the game when Adam Tillcock got a big score ?

  4. It was, I think Notts won in a highish scoring match. Is Worksop CC on way back as a First Team venue ?
August virtually blank in NG2, even for Twos matches !
That why still not 100% set to rejoin. Gets my goat to be honest.

    1. I won’t rejoin, I’m not giving my hard earned dough to pursehouse, he attitude to the members and the county championship stinks. I’ll still go but pay on the day for “ champo “ cricket as she calls it . Foxy

  5. The 2013 fixture against Bangladesh A at Trent Bridge where Tillcock got 97no was a first team fixture. Notts no longer play at Worksop CC, the ground they now use for the Seconds is at Worksop College. The ground is well worth a visit although the tiny Pavilion is not really suitable for first team cricket.

    1. I recall seeing the ‘Master Blaster’ himself, a certain I.V.A. Richards playing at the old Worksop CC towards the end of his playing days when he had a stint with Glamorgan CCC.

    2. Yes I was there too. Balls disappeared into the river at one end , into the canal at the other, a woman hanging her washing out on central ave Worksop was in serious danger, trademark and classic viv entertainment. Foxy
