Haryana hang out for a draw

Sunday

With Finn and Broad having a bowling net and Swann due back on the Sub-continent tomorrow, the other bowlers still needed more practice in the middle, just in case of any hiccups, which is what they got. Reports say that Onions was much improved as Haryana were reduced to 133/6 when hands were shaken. England had declared setting a target of 442, a ton for Trott and a duck for Samit and KP.

Lumb Dog Millionaire

Sunday
Michael Lumb cashed-in with an awesome display for the Sydney Sixers in the CLT20 final against the hometown Highveld Lions.

Put into bat on a flat dry track that took some early turn, the Lions struggled to 9/4 against the spin of McCullum and O'Keefe and the pace of Josh Hazlewood. The flying "Scotsman", Jean Symes dragged some respectability back for the Lions with 51 but a target of 122 was well short of par............... and so it proved as Sixers raced to their winning line without losing a wicket. Michael Lumb's 82* secured him man of the match and the golden bat award for scoring the most tournament runs.
